Abstract

In a cylinder device of the present invention, based on a screwing relationship between a screw rodand a ball screw mechanismand through oil supply port control, the piston and sleeveis made to advance or retract while being rotated. A rear end side of a rodis fitted into a sleeve portionof the piston and sleeve. Then, a fitting and coupling mechanism that uses an engagement keyand a key groovecauses only a rotation torque of the piston and sleeveto act on the rod. The rodwith a screw corecoupled thereto operates at a pitch defined by a screwing relationship between the rodand a rod cover. The pitch defined by the screwing relationship is the same as a pitch of the screw core
