Disclosed is a level sensor () for a fuel tank (), comprising a holding part () that can be mounted in different positions on a support (). The support () is fastened to a swirl pot () while the holding part () bears a lever arm () that supports a float (). The inventive level sensor () can be adjusted to different fuel tank dimensions by mounting said level sensor () differently on the support ().
