A technique of processing an image data for output on a digital image device that compresses () a portion of a received image data to a data frame () according to a predefined size that is optimized for output with a processor of the device. The portion of the image data that is defined by the data frame is outputted () to another source, and for any empty bits in the data frame, a zero bit is inserted ().
