Abstract

An acid addition salt of a carba-sugar amine derivative represented by the following formula (1): wherein Rand Reach independently represents a hydrogen atom, or an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an acyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group which may have one or at least two of the following substituent (I) or (II), or Rand Rare taken together to represent a substituent (III) (Rto Reach independently represents an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, an acyl group, an aryl group or an aralkyl group), with the proviso that both Rand Rare not a hydrogen atom at the same time; R, Rand Reach independently represents a hydroxyl group or a hydroxyl group having a substituent; and Rand Reach independently represents a hydrogen atom, or a hydroxyl group or a hydroxyl group having a substituent, with the proviso that when one of Rand Ris a hydrogen atom, the other is a hydroxyl group or a hydroxyl group having a substituent.
