The present invention is directed to compounds which possess unique organoleptic propertied of the general formula wherein R is a hydrogen or selected from the group consisting of C-Cmoieties and the use of these materials as a fragrance chemical to enhance fragrance in perfumes, toilet waters, colognes, personal products and the like.
