Abstract
A method for knocking-off a web () round on a turret winder () by a knocking-off device () includes a pressure roller (), in which the knocking-off device () and a coil () of the winder () are, through an abrupt relative movement, brought into a position in which the pressure roller () engages the periphery of the coil () and the abrupt movement is a pivotal movement (B) of the coil () about a pivotal axis that extends in parallel with the axes of rotation thereof.
