Abstract
The invention relates to a camshaft () comprising a shaft () onto which one or more annular cams (') are pushed and fixed in a positive and/or non-positive fit. To produce said camshaft in a particularly cost-effective, simple and flexible manner, the cams (′) are produced from one or more strip sections by deformation, in particular by bending into an annular form and by the welding of the free ends.
