Abstract
An image forming apparatus () according to the present invention includes a high voltage circuit board () and a driving unit (). A frame (B) is provided in the apparatus () to support an image forming unit (). The frame (B) has a partition face (), which defines a boundary between an inner side (D) and an outer side (D) and faces toward the outer side (D). An electric discharger () and driving mechanisms () are provided on the inner side (D) inward of the partition face (). The high voltage circuit board () and the driving unit () for operating the driving mechanisms () are provided on the outer side (D) outward of the partition face (). The high voltage circuit board () is fixed directly to the partition face () on the outer side (D). The driving unit () is fixed to the partition face () from the outer side (D) so as to be located outwardly of the high voltage circuit board () on the outer side (D) and overlap the high voltage circuit board ().
