Abstract
Apparatus for injecting gas into a vessel including a gas flow ductwhich receives hot gas through a gas inlet structureat a rear end of the duct. An elongate central structureextends throughout the length of ductand carries a series of vanesfor imparting swirl to the gas flow exiting the forward end of the duct.
