A command packet Ccomprehending a version command, the profile of which is to be checked, from a data source (STB) to a data destination side (printer device) and a response packet Rincluding the profile information as the search result is transmitted from the data destination side to the data source side, which then transmits a data packet Sincluding the picture data conforming to the profile information to the data destination side. Thus, the status of a controlled device can be checked by a control device in a shorter time.
