Abstract
In a fixing apparatus capable of reducing unevenness in temperature distribution in an axial direction while reducing heat loss at an end portion, a fixing beltextended around a fixation rollerand a fixation tension rolleris heated by a coil unitfor effecting induction heating. The fixation tension rolleris assembled by inserting a heat pipeinto a hollow roller. At both end portions, the hollow rolleris covered with a cover portion having small holes.
