Abstract

A linear guide device has a guide rail, a slider body, an end cap, a large number of rolling bodies, and separators. The slider bodyhas a slider side rolling body raceway surface opposed to a rail side rolling body raceway surfaceformed on the guide rail. The end caphas a rolling body direction switching pathcommunicating with a rolling body load rolling pathformed between both rolling body raceway surfaces of the guide railand the slider bodyand also communicating with a rolling body return pathformed in a penetrating manner in the slider body, along the longitudinal direction of the guide rail. In conjunction with relative linear movement of a sliderconstituted of the slider bodyand the end cap, the rolling bodiesroll in the rolling body load rolling path, the rolling body return path, and a rolling body direction switching path. The separatorsare arranged between every two adjacent rolling bodies. The end caphas a throughholefor assembling the rolling bodiesand the separatorsfrom the outside of the sliderinto the rolling body return pathand also has a cap memberremovably fitted in the through-hole. The cap memberforms part of the rolling body direction switching path
