Abstract
A color liquid crystal display device capable of displaying a large color gamut is provided. A color liquid crystal display deviceincludes: a transmissive color liquid crystal panelhaving a color filter and a backlight light source, in which the backlight light sourceincludes a fluorescent lampof large color reproduction range, a color filteris made of color filters of three primary colors that select the wavelength to transmit red light, green light and blue light, and the filter of each color has a spectroscopic characteristic suitable for the spectrum of the fluorescent lampof large color reproduction range.
