Abstract
A display device for displaying an image using a first sub-frame and a second sub-frame is provided. The display device comprises an array having a first plurality of pixels and a second plurality of pixels offset from but overlapping the first plurality of pixels and a control unit. The control unit is configured to cause the array to display the first sub-frame using the first plurality of pixels, and the control unit is configured to cause the array to display the second sub-frame using the second plurality of pixels.
