Abstract

The invention relates to a method and to a device which is used to blow-form containers (). A preform () is stretched inside a blow form () by a horizontal bar () after thermal conditioning and is shaped in the container by means of blow pressure effects. At least one part of the pressurised gas is guided towards the base area of the container (). One particular advantage of said invention is that the flow path ends in the vicinity of the base area. At least one part of the pressurised gas () is guided into the container by the horizontal bar ().
