Abstract
There is provided a boundary microphone especially suitable for outdoor applications, which has strong waterproof and high wind noise resistance. In a boundary microphone in which a microphone caseincludes a flat base portionthe upper surface side of which is open, and a microphone coverhaving a large number of openings, which is attached to the base portionso as to cover the upper surface of the base portion, and a microphone unitis housed in the microphone case, a pileis flocked by electrostatic flocking over the whole surface of at least the outer surface of the microphone coverincluding a connecting portionbetween the microphone coverand the base portion, and the pileis subjected to water repellent processing.
