Abstract
An electrochemical device comprises a matrixincluding an anodeand a cathode, an electrolyte, and a shellfor accommodating the matrixand electrolyte in a closed state. The shellincludes an upper lid, a lower lid, and a gasket. At least one of the upper lidand lower lidis formed with a projection protruding toward the matrixso that the upper lidand the anodeelectrically come into contact with each other and that the lower lidand the cathodeelectrically come into contact with each other.
