Abstract
An optical pickup with improved vibration resistance and heat dissipation is mounted astride a main shaftand a secondary shaft. The travel of the optical pickup is adapted to be guided by the main shaft, where a secondary bearing partadapted to slide relative to the secondary shaftincludes an overlapping sliding faceand an auxiliary overlapping face, and a clearance δ is formed between the auxiliary overlapping faceand the secondary shaftto improve ease of assembly. A control elementis mounted on a printed circuit boardmounted on a base member, and the control element is overlapped with a radiator plate. The radiator plateis provided with a pressing piece, and the pressing pieceis brought into elastic contact with the secondary shaftto reliably bring the overlapping sliding faceinto elastic contact with the secondary shaft
