Abstract
A reflective layerhaving an aperturefor each pixel is formed on a first substrateand a colored layerfor constituting a color filter is formed thereon. A surface protection layeris formed on the colored layerand a transparent electrodeis formed further thereon. The colored layeris constituted so as to cover the aperturein a two-dimensional direction, but overlaps only a part of a reflection surface in the pixel in a two-dimensional direction.
