Abstract
The spring winding machine () comprises a measuring device () with a measuring sensor () which is arranged in front of the shaper () with respect to the conveyor direction of the wire () to be shaped. The activation of the shaper () is changed by the measured variables of the measuring sensor () with respect to a predefined activation function (K) in a manner such that the shaped wire has the desired spring properties.
