Abstract

A vacuum switchgear system, which comprises a plurality of vacuum switchgears each comprising a vacuum container for accommodating the desired number of vacuum switches selected from a disconnecting switch or load break switch, an earth switch and an vacuum circuit breaker. Each of the vacuum switches has connecting terminals. The switchgears constitute different types of switchgears, the switchgears being classified into the power receiving side and power distribution side. The switchgears are connected with the adjoining switchgear or an element selected from an arrester and a PCT by means of an insulated connecting conductor having terminals around both ends thereof. The terminals are electrically connectable with and detachable from the connecting terminals of the switchgears.
