Abstract
The network printerstores print logs generated after a previous log transmission timing into the log storage area, and then sends the print logs stored in the log storage areato the management serverat a next log transmission timing. The network printerstores a log relating to a print job into the log storage areaon completion of the whole print job when the next job transmission timing does not come before completion of the print job, while storing a log relating to a print job into the log storage areaon completion of every one page included in the print job when the next job transmission timing comes before completion of the print job. This arrangement desirably ensures transmission of logs relating to all jobs generated before each transmission timing to the management server.
