Abstract

A display unit includes a conductive portion. When it is assumed that there is an imaginary straight line m, which extends in a direction perpendicular to a longitudinal direction of a dipole antenna, passes through a center of the dipole antennaand is parallel to an antenna surface of the dipole antenna, the dipole antennais disposed on a lateral side of the display unit so that the imaginary straight line mis parallel to a display screen, is parallel to an upper sideor a lower sideof a main surface of the conductive portion and passes a lateral portion of the conductive portion. When the dipole antenna has a length Lin the longitudinal direction thereof, when the conductive portion has a thickness T, and when a radio wave for communication with the external device has a wavelength λin the air, the formula of λ≧L≧T is established, a one side of the conductive portion has a greater length than the wavelength λ, and a shortest distance d between each of peripheral portions of radiating conductorsandand a peripheral portion of the conductive portion ranges from (L/10) to 6L.
