Abstract
An electrical connector () comprises a metal housing () configured by first, second, third and fourth sidewalls () defining a receiving space () therebetween, first and second insulating housings () securely attached to the first and third sidewalls of the metal housing respectively, a plurality of contacts () securely attached to the insulating housing, first and second metal shield () assembled to the first and second insulating housing, and a fastening means () extending from the metal shield, through the insulating housing and anchored to the first and third sidewalls of the metal housing, respectively.
