Abstract
A foamed body () for the production of a seat of an automobile () has at least one airbag module (), which is integrated into the lateral area of the seat (). The airbag module () includes an expandable airbag () and a gas generator (). The seat () has at least one normally closed exit opening (), through which the airbag () can be expanded. The foamed body () has a cavity (), and/or a recess, in which the non-expanded airbag () can be at least partially received.
