Abstract
A dishwasher and dryer has a washing vessel () accommodating a basket carrying tableware, a water feed path feeding water or hot water for washing and rinsing into the washing vessel () through an operation of a water feed valve, a circulating path for spraying feed water in the washing vessel from a nozzle to a dish, and a control circuit () controlling a washing step and a rinsing step. In such a dishwasher and dryer, a hard water generating vessel () is arranged to carry out a washing step using hard water as feed water in a washing step.
