Abstract
An ink composition for inkjet recording comprising water and a compound represented by the following Structure: wherein at least one of Z, Z, Z, and Zare not hydrogen; each of R, Rand Rare independently selected from the group consisting of hydrogen and methyl, Ris —H, —CH, —CH, or —CH, or —CHO(CHCHRO)Z, wherein each Ris independently hydrogen or methyl; b is 0 or 1; x, x, x, and xare each equal to at least 1, the sum of x, x, xis 3 to 45 when Ris not —CHO(CHCHRO)Z, and the sum x, x, x, and xis from 3 to 60 when Ris —CHO(CHCHRO)Z. Such compounds have been found to provide improved curl control.
