Abstract

An exemplary method for reducing fraudulent transactions includes receiving fraud data from a first data source, wherein the fraud data is related to a fraudulent transaction of an entity. A first data element corresponding to the entity is also received from the first data source. The first data element is correlated with the fraudulent transaction of the entity to form an entity profile. The first data element and a second data element corresponding to the entity are received from a second data source. The second data element is correlated with the entity profile based on the first data element. A transaction risk assessment request based on a request for payment to a payee is received, wherein the transaction risk assessment request includes a payee identifier. A transaction risk assessment is generated based at least in part on the entity profile and at least in part on the payee identifier.
