Abstract
Disclosed herein is a peak expiratory flow meter capable of measuring continuous expiratory flow. The peak expiratory flow meter includes a lower casing unit (), an air expansion unit () and an upper casing unit (). The lower casing unit () includes a first body () having an open top and open opposite sides and having a first end in which a first expiratory flow entrance () is formed, a plurality of rails (), and a movable plate (). The air expansion unit () includes a pressure transfer tube (), an elastic plate (), and a pressure spring (). The upper casing unit () includes a second body () adapted to define the air expansion unit and provided with a first end in which a second expiratory flow entrance () is formed, and a measurement slot (), and a scale indicator () having a 'T' shape.
