Abstract
A housing () has two side walls () and a covering wall () that define a U-shaped channel for covering terminal fittings (). The housing () is mounted on a printed-circuit board () so that the U-shaped channel and the circuit board () define a bag-shaped space (). The U-shaped channel of the housing () and the circuit board () are accommodated in a case () so that the bag-shaped space () faces down. A potting material () then is introduced into the case (). Air vents () are formed through the covering wall () and provide communication between the bag-shaped space () and an outer surface of the covering wall (). Thus, air trapped in the bag-shaped space () is discharged to the outside through the air vents ().
