Abstract
The present invention relates to provision of data bearers in a communication system () comprising a first node () and a second node (). A message is generated that associates with provision of control of a data bearer between the nodes (), said message being based on a data bearer control protocol. Information that associates with responsibilities regarding a quality of service function of the data bearer is included in the message. The message is then transported between the nodes (). The quality of service function of the data bearer is controlled by a control node () that has been selected based on said information added in the message.
