Abstract
In a disk array apparatus according to an aspect of the invention, temperatures of disk drives arranged in a casing are equalized to reduce a noise. A disk array apparatuscomprises plural disk drives, fans, and a casing. The disk drivesare arranged in an array, the fansare provided on one end side of rows of the disk drives, and the casingaccommodates the disk drivesand the fans. Air which has already cooled the disk drives flows through an air duct. A sub-fanexhausts the air flowing through the air duct to the outside of the casing. A nozzleis arranged in a front end portion of the air duct. One end portion of the nozzleis arranged between the disk drives.
