A liquid crystal composition having a nematic phase and including a compound represented by Formula (1), a compound represented by Formulas (2-1) and (2-2), and a compound represented by Formulas (3-1), (3-2) and (3-3), and a liquid crystal display device including the composition: wherein, for example, Ris alkenyl having approximately 2 to approximately 12 carbons; R, R, R, Rand Rare alkyl having approximately 1 to approximately 12 carbons; Yand Yare fluorine; Xand Xare hydrogen; and X, Xand Xare hydrogen or fluorine, provided that at least one of X, Xand Xis fluorine.
