Abstract

A system () for attaching a mast () of an antenna to a support post () includes a base plate () connected to the post (), and a bracket plate () carrying the mast () and tiltably mounted to the base plate () by a plurality of connecting components (). Each connecting component includes a bolt (), two of which are received through notches () formed in the plate () and one of which is received in each track () formed in the plate (). A nut () tightens each of the bolts () to attach the plate () to the plate (). When the bolts () are loosened, the plate () may be lifted relative to the plate () to move the bolts () out to the notches (). Thereafter, the plate () may be tilted relative to the plate () to pivot a bolt () in one of the tracks () about a bolt () positioned in a pivot point () of the other track () to lower the antenna to the ground where it may be conveniently serviced.
