Abstract
It is an object of the present invention to provide a terminal device which is not limited in the degree of freedom in terms of case design and which allows easy visual recognition of light emission for indicating a specific state even when it is carried in a chest pocket. The terminal device comprising: a stationary case (); a movable case () provided on the stationary case () through the intermediation of a hinge () to allow opening and closing; and light emitting device () for indicating a specific state through light emission, in which the light emitting device () is provided at the hinge () side end of the stationary case () or the movable case ().
