Abstract
An absorbent article having a substantially oblong rectangular absorbent body A composed of a topsheet, a backsheet, and an absorbent corebetween the topsheetand the backsheet. The absorbent article further has a pair of side sheetsas leak preventive side members on its skin facing side C of the absorbent body A. The leak preventive side members have a pattern P printed with ink in a configuration such that the printed ink is substantially kept away from contact with the skin of a wearer.
