Abstract

In addition to a conference servera record serveris provided. The conference data of a real-time conference is stored in a storage sectionof the record server(S). A conference terminalperforms connection processing to the conference (S) and then transmits a catch-up playback request to the record server(S). The record serverdetermines whether or not catch-up playback is enabled (S) and then distributes the past conference data (S), and notifies the conference terminalthat the catch-up playback end point has come (S-). Accordingly, the connection of the conference terminalis switched to the conference server(S) and the conference terminalis connected to the real-time conference (S).
