Abstract
A nose cover () for a dome () through which radiation can pass, for a missile, the nose cover having an outer structure () through which radiation can pass and which is aerodynamically better than a spherical shape, and having correction optics () through which radiation can pass and which can be placed in front of the dome (). The nose cover () makes it possible to retrofit older missiles such that they have a greater range without this necessitating any modification of the existing structure of the missile.
