Abstract
A double-sided adhesive tape () and a method for fixing a sealing element () in place, preferably in motor vehicles, has a sealing body () made from silicone, to which a first self-adhesive sticking surface () of a double-sided adhesive tape () is applied which is formed at least partly of a silicone glue. The double-sided adhesive tape () is provided with a second self-adhesive sticking surface () for fixing to the site of application.
