Abstract
A discontinuous contact region is formed in the vicinity of the tip of a spiral contact towards the center of the spiral. When a spherical contact is pressed into the spiral contact, a contact point P is formed since the angular portion of the tip of the discontinuous contact region comes into contact with the surface of the spherical contact first. Thus, the electrical characteristic, such as the contact resistance, between the spiral contact and the spherical contact becomes constant, and the connections between the two contacts can be stabilized.
