Abstract
A retainer for fixing terminals of springsto a round shaftof a seat frame for a seat is disclosed. Each of the terminals of the springs is formed into a substantially U-shape. The retainer includes a bodyof a substantially U-shape in cross-section which is adapted to be mounted on the round shaft, and pairs of first and second spring-engaging piecesbent laterally from both edges of the U-shaped body. The retainer is adapted to fix the substantially U-shaped terminals of the springsto the round shaftwith the first and second spring-engaging piecesthereof being engaged with the substantially U-shaped terminals of the springs
