Abstract
An impact tool comprising a motor, a hammerthat is rotated and axially moved by a drive force of the motor, an anvilthat repeats engagement/disengagement from the hammeraccompanying rotation and axial movements of the hammer, and a tip toolmounted to the anvil, the anvilcomprising a first split pieceA, which includes pawls(first concave-convex part) on an opposite side to the hammer and repeats engagement/disengagement from the hammer, a second split pieceB, which includes pawls(second concave-convex part) engageable with the pawls (first concave-convex part)of the first split pieceA in a direction of rotation, and to which the tip toolis mounted, and a rubber damper (elastic body)interposed between the first and second split piecesA,B to prevent direct contact between the pawls (first concave-convex part)and the pawls (second concave-convex part)in the direction of rotation and in an axial direction.
