Abstract
A cord stopper (A˜E) comprises a locking member (A˜E) adapted to be normally in locking engagement with a cord (A˜C) and, when the locking member (A˜E) is pressed, to come out of locking engagement with the cord (A˜C); and a housing member (A˜E) including a housing member proper (A˜E) adapted for housing the locking member (A˜E) therein and attached to an article (). The housing member proper (A˜E) has a housing space (E) large enough to substantially accommodate the locking member (A˜E). Pressure applied to the housing member proper (A˜E) can be transmitted to the locking member (A˜E) through an outer wall of the housing space (E).
