Abstract

A method and computer usable medium storing a computer program for performing failed wireless communication diagnostics are disclosed. A failed transmission condition is recognized. A cleared number communication channel is established between a telematics unit and either a service provider or a call center responsive to the received failed transmission condition. A communication device identifier is sent to the service provider. A communication parameter associated with data generated by the service provider is received at the telematics unit.
