Abstract
A portable electronic device provided with interface means which include an LCD and function keys (). The device is provided with a left-hand mode and a right-hand mode to facilitate operation of the interface whether the device is held in the right hand or the left hand. A control means is provided for selectively transferring from one mode to the other mode.
