Abstract

Disclosed is an adsorbing material (), particularly for producing protective suits, comprising an especially planar supporting material (), an at least substantially air-impermeable, steam-permeable barrier layer (), and an adsorbing layer (). The baffler layer () is applied to the supporting material () and is used as an adhesive layer for the adsorbing layer () that is disposed on the face of the barrier layer (), which lies opposite the supporting material (). The baffler layer () is provided with a steam permeability of at least 20 l/mper 24 h at 25° C. and at a thickness of 50 μm.
