Abstract

The present invention relates to bipolar plate () as well as to a fuel cell assembly (). The bipolar plate comprises two outer surfaces () which are electrically connected to one another, for the electrical contacting, as well as the discharge and supply of gases and/or fluids to the surfaces of the fuel cells which are adjacent to the outer surfaces. The bipolar plate comprises a frame () open in the central region as well as an inner part () arranged in the central reign, wherein the frame and the inner part are elastically connected to one another.
