Abstract

A photothermographic material having, on at least one side of a support, an image forming layer including at least a photosensitive silver halide, a non-photosensitive organic silver salt, a reducing agent, and a binder, wherein 1) the binder includes a polymer latex having a monomer component represented by formula (M):CH═CR—CR═CH  Formula (M)2) the photothermographic material includes a compound represented by formula (SA): and 3) the photothermographic material further includes a metal phthalocyanine dye represented by formula (PC-1): wherein at least one of R, R, R, R, R, R, R, and Ris an electron-attracting group. The invention provides a photothermographic material which produces an image free from unevenness in color tone, having high image quality, and is excellent in image storability.
