Abstract
A contact lens case () comprises a base () having a left cavity (A) and a right cavity (B) for storing contact lenses (A,B). An upward-facing base dome (A,B) in each cavity supports the lenses with the rims of the lenses downward. A lid () comprises downward-facing lid domes (A,B) to retain the lenses on the upward-facing domes of the base. The lid domes allow expelling of air during closing of the case to maintain good hydration of the lenses.
