Abstract
A portable, preferably explosion-proof gas meter is improved in respect to shock loads and has a cylindrical measuring cell () and an evaluating circuit on a printed circuit board (). The measuring cell () is connected to the printed circuit board () and is mounted in the housing in a shock-absorbing manner in the radial and longitudinal directions and is in gas flow connection with the environment through openings () in the housing.
